AS Kigali coach, Andrew Gasambungo aka Casa is confident his club will win their first silverware by clinching this season’s Peace Cup against Malaria cup. AS Muhanga and AS Kigali will battle in the finals of the 2013 Peace Cup against Malaria due on July 4 in Kigali. AS Muhanga beat Bugesera 1-0 while AS Kigali knocked out APR 4-2 on penalties after a 1-all draw. The former Sec academy coach Gasambungo is optimistic that his side is capable of winning the title. “I think we are capable of winning the title and it is for us to lose,” “Right now, all I can say is that we are training hard. We have a chance of winning the title and we will fight for it and I am confident on achieving that feat,” He further added, “We are building a team for the future, we know where we are coming from and where we are going to achieve our targets.” “It will take time because we made so many changes in the team last season, it’s a new team but we are still learning how to be at the top and managing the challenges that come with it.” He also urged his team to be consistent. “We know we cannot win every good match but it is good to have strong mentality and character to be a winner.
