GTV subscribers to watch live Nelson Mandela’s 90th birthday celebrations

On June 27, GTV subscribers across Africa will watch live a concert by international vocalists, in a tribute to the world’s most respected leader, and Nobel Peace Prize Laureate and famous freedom fighter, Nelson ‘Madiba’ Mandela. GTV will for the first time be airing a 46664 Foundation event, and it is inviting viewers to watch alongside 46,664 people in London’s Hyde Park, as the world’s most powerful and instantly recognisable figures honour Mr. Mandela marks 90-years.
