Editor,Response is made to an article appeared in The NewTimes, February, 4 titled “KIST students move to reduce early pregnancies”.Whereas ignorance may not be the highest rated cause of unwanted early pregnancies among our daughters, it plays a prominent role.Parents ought to play a big role in educating their children, both boys and girls, on the dangers of having early pregnancies. The responsibility should be seen from either boys or girls. The Imbuto Foundation is doing a great deal towards parental education.
