Teachers urged to uphold professional ethics

KARONGI- Teachers and students in the Western Province yesterday joined the rest of the world to commemorate the Teachers Day. At colourful ceremonies organised in each of the seven districts, the teachers were encouraged to embrace hard work while at the same time upholding professional ethics. In Karongi District, teachers said that the day helps them to discuss and seek solutions to their problems in a bid to provide quality education.
