The Green baggies showed how desperate they are to get their hands on the Rwf5m cash prize reserved for the league runner-up after thrashing relegation-bound Mukura 4-1 at Mumena stadium. Eric Serugaba scored a brace while Yusuf Ndayishimiye and Jabir Irambona netted the other goals. Corneille Murwanashyaka scored Mukura’s consolation. The league will then be put on hold until June 8 to allow the national team –Amavubi Stars prepare for their 2012 Nations Cup return leg qualifier against Burundi on June 5.
