RDB’s project with former poachers is commendable

Editor, The move initiated by the Rwanda Development Board (RDB) in 2002, to have poachers abandon hunting, has not only saved wild life, but also resulted in the development of communities surrounding game parks. I visited an association of former poachers known as Iby’Iwacu Cultural Village located in Kinigi and the group is doing a great job in conserving the environment in the Virunga Mountains.
