Adoption of amendments to the genocide convention is necessary for fight against genocide-visiting journalists

Daniel  Tineye Makokera South African media based practitioner What I have learnt from this conference as someone who comes to Rwanda regularly is that there is a serious convergence of school of thought that says that the report was probably immature, and that the report should not have come out. I have learnt that there is serious suspicion that the timing of the report at the time it came out could not have been right which leads to people to be highly suspicious of this report and its real motives. Moving forward, while, the UN can be said to be an international agency the UN itself must be understood as representing the aspirations of all countries.
