APR FC captain and striker Cheick Djibril Ouattara has signed a two-year contract extension that will keep him at the club until 2028. The Burkina Faso international signed the new deal on Thursday, November 5, APR FC announced. Ouattara initially joined APR on a two-year contract, which was due to expire in January 2027. His extension follows an impressive 2025/26 campaign in which he scored 18 league goals to finish as the BK Pro League’s top scorer. During his time with the military side, Ouattara has helped APR win two consecutive league titles, two Peace Cups and a FERWAFA Super Cup. The extension ensures APR retains its captain and leading striker as the club continues to compete in domestic and continental competitions.
