Rwandan artistes Nel Ngabo and Christopher will be performing at the Rwanda Convention Canada 2026 in Ottawa on Saturday, October 10. The two-event, organised by the High Commission of Rwanda in Canada in partnership with the Rwandan Community Abroad-Canada (RCA-Canada) will run across two days from October 10 to 11 at Rogers Centre Ottawa under the theme, “Our Heritage, Our Bridge.” The event will bring together Rwandans from different parts of Canada, including families, students, young professionals and community leaders, as well as friends of Rwanda and officials from Rwanda. ALSO READ: Dallas: The Ben, Kade and Element thrill revelers at Rwanda Convention The convention will recognise the contribution of Rwandans living abroad to their country's development while celebrating the heritage, culture and values that continue to connect them to Rwanda. It will also explore ways to strengthen cooperation between the diaspora and Rwanda, encourage investment in the country and promote Rwanda internationally. Nel Ngabo and Christopher will headline the performances which form part of the entertainment side of the event. Canada is home to more than 30,000 Rwandans. The convention is expected to strengthen community ties, provide a platform for exchanging ideas and exploring business opportunities in the Rwandan market, while fostering closer connections among Rwandans living in Canada. The Rwanda Convention in Canada follows the previous one held in Dallas, Texas, in the United States, from July 4 to 6, 2025, which featured performances by Rwandan artists The Ben, Kevin Kade and Element EleéeH.
