Rwanda, European centre partner to boost specialised care, radiology

Rwanda has partnered with Gustave Roussy, a leading cancer centre in Europe, to strengthen cancer care and develop specialised expertise in the country. It combines patient care, research and teaching, with expertise in complex tumours and rare cancers. It was named after Professor Gustave Roussy, a Swiss-born neurologist and pathologist who created France’s first cancer outpatient consultation service in 1921.
