Rwanda head coach Stephen Constantine has named a 24-man squad for Amavubi's upcoming encounter against Cape Verde on September 29, with four players omitted from the traveling team. The team departed Kigali International Airport on Saturday 3:00 am without goalkeepers Patient Niyongira (Police FC) and Yves Mugisha (Rayon Sports), forward Taiba Mbonyumwami (Ethiopian Coffee SC) and Fidali Uwiyaremye (APR FC). They follow midfielder Keddy Nsanzimfura, who had earlier withdrawn from the camp due to health concerns and was replaced by Elie Tatou Iradukunda. The traveling squad includes goalkeepers Adolphe Hakizimana and Fiacre Ntwari, defenders Ange Mutsinzi, Clement Niyigena, Phanuel Kavita, Darryl Nkulikiyimana, Emmanuel Imanishimwe, Jean Gilbert Byiringiro, Claude Niyomugabo and Obed Uwumukiza. The midfield department comprises Noam Emeran, Bonheur Mugisha, Djihad Bizimana, Samuel Gueulette, Hakim Hamis and Kevin Muhire while the attackers include Leroy-Jacques Mickels, Jojea Kwizera, Gilbert Mugisha, Innocent Nshuti, Abeddy Biramahire, Joy-Lance Mickels, and Slayd Mickels. Rwanda heads into the match with renewed confidence after securing a convincing 3-1 victory over Liberia. Cape Verde, meanwhile, will also be seeking a positive response at home after suffering a 3-1 defeat to Mali in their previous outing in Bamako on Friday night.
