Rwanda’s RSSB Tigers have officially advanced to the semi-finals of the 2026 FIBA Intercontinental Cup in Beijing, China. The African champions finished second in Group A after Rytas Vilnius defeated Shanghai Sharks 107-66 on Tuesday to top the group with a perfect 2-0 record. Despite losing to Rytas in their opening game, the Tigers kept their qualification hopes alive with a dramatic 19-point comeback against Shanghai, winning 117-115 in overtime in front of the home crowd. RSSB Tigers will now face the winner of the Group B clash between Argentina’s Boca Juniors and NBA G League United in the semi-finals.
