Former Rayon Sports midfielder Pascal Iradukunda has agreed to join United Arab Emirates second-tier side Nova Star SC. Iradukunda is seeking a fresh challenge after mutually terminating his contract with the Rwandan club. The 21-year-old left Kigali International Airport on Monday, September 14, with the move expected to be completed after a few final details are settled. Iradukunda spent two seasons with Rayon Sports but struggled for regular playing time. Despite his limited appearances, his talent and potential continued to attract interest from clubs abroad. Although he still had one year remaining on his contract, Iradukunda and Rayon Sports agreed to part ways amicably, paving the way for the midfielder to pursue a new opportunity overseas. Times Sport understands that Nova Star are expected to offer Iradukunda a three-year contract. The UAE-based club recently secured promotion to the Second Division and are strengthening their squad ahead of the new campaign.
