Rwandan forward Zawadi Usanase has completed a one-year move to Turkish women’s football club Haymana Spor Kadın Futbol Kulübü. The 26-year-old joins the Turkish side following impressive spells in Rwanda and Tanzania, where she established herself as a prolific forward. Usanase rose to prominence during her time with AS Kigali Women FC, with her goalscoring form attracting the attention of Tanzanian club Simba Queens, who signed her in July 2025. She spent one season with Simba Queens before leaving after the club opted not to renew her contract. Haymana Spor confirmed Usanase’s signing on its official platforms on Saturday, making her one of a growing number of Rwandan women footballers pursuing careers abroad.
