BK Pro League releases 2026/27 fixtures, APR, Rayon derby set for November

Domestic giants APR FC and Rayon Sports will renew their rivalry on November 21 at Amahoro Stadium, according to the 2026/27 BK Pro League fixture calendar released on Monday, August 17. The new season will kick off on September 4 and run until May 23, 2027, with the highly anticipated clash between the two perennial rivals headlining the first round of fixtures, which concludes on January 18. The opening match of the campaign will see Kiyovu SC host Gorilla FC at Kigali Pelé Stadium on Friday, September 4. Defending champions APR FC will begin their title defence away to Musanze FC at Ubworoherane Stadium, while Al Hilal, who finished top of the table last season, will travel to Nyamata to face Bugesera FC. Rayon Sports are scheduled to open their campaign at home against Al Merrikh at Kigali Pelé Stadium. However, the dates for the APR, Rayon Sports and Al Hilal fixtures are yet to be confirmed because the clubs could be involved in CAF Champions League matches. Al Hilal and Al Merrikh will both enter their second seasons competing in Rwanda after joining the domestic league last campaign.
