APR VC have completed the signings of opposite hitter Wicklif Dusenge and libero Saduru Manzi on two-year contract which will keep them at the club until 2028.

Dusenge, 27, joins from Kepler VC after months of negotiations. APR had long identified him as one of their priority transfer targets, with reports indicating the club was prepared to offer him a monthly salary of Rwf5 million to secure his signature.

Kepler were initially reluctant to part with the star attacker, who had also attracted interest from several clubs in Saudi Arabia.

Manzi returns to the club he last played in 2024. He had been on APR's radar even before the conclusion of the 2025/26 season but administrative procedures delated the completion of the transfer, according to sources.

The reigning Best Libero of the 2024/25 season joins APR after an impressive spell with Police VC, where he played a key role in the club's run to the National Volleyball League finals.

Dusenge also arrives on the back of a standout campaign in the 2026 Genocide Memorial Tournament, where he was named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) after leading Kepler VC to the tournament triumph.

Since joining the university side, he has been instrumental in Kepler's emergence as one of Rwanda's top volleyball clubs, helping the team reach the National Volleyball League playoffs in both the 2024/25 and 2025/26 seasons.
