King James is on the verge of making history as the first Rwandan artiste to sell out BK Arena on two consecutive nights, with tickets for his second concert already 85 percent sold, according to organisers. There could hardly be a better way for the singer to celebrate two decades in the music industry. The second concert, scheduled for August 2, was added after tickets for the August 1 anniversary show sold out within just three days. Organisers say only Upper Bowl, Floor Standing and CIP tickets remain for the second show, while the Green and Blue sections are already sold out. We are confident that we will also sell out day two, Intore said, noting that ticket sales have exceeded expectations. To be honest, we were not expecting tickets to sell out in three days, but we were confident King James would fill the arena. The demand was really high, so we decided to give fans a second day, and I'm glad we did, he said. Intore said the overwhelming response is a testament to the steady growth of Rwanda's music industry. This achievement means a lot to us—Intore Entertainment and King James—but it also means a lot to the entire music industry because it shows how far Rwanda's music industry has come. We can only hope for an even better future, he said.
