Rwandan goalkeeper Fiacre Ntwari has been presented with a fresh opportunity to reignite his South African top-flight career after joining newly promoted Kruger United ahead of the 2026/27 Betway Premiership season. The 25-year-old shot-stopper was unveiled as one of nine new recruits as Kruger United continues an ambitious recruitment drive aimed at strengthening the squad for its maiden campaign in South Africa's elite division. The move comes after Ntwari parted ways with Kaizer Chiefs, ending a difficult spell at one of the country's biggest clubs. Having arrived at Naturena in 2024 with high expectations, the Rwanda number one struggled to establish himself as a regular starter, facing stiff competition from Brandon Petersen and Bruce Bvuma.
