BK Pro League side SC Kiyovu Sports have appointed experienced English tactician Mark Harrison as their new head coach. Harrison is expected to arrive in Rwanda on August 2 to begin his tenure with the Nyamirambo-based club. The Englishman brings a wealth of experience from African football, having previously coached in South Africa, Kenya, Botswana, Zimbabwe and Malawi. During his coaching career, Harrison has managed several notable clubs, including Kenyan giants Gor Mahia and South African sides Chippa United and Golden Arrows. Among his biggest achievements is guiding Township Rollers to the Botswana Premier League title in 2016. He also led Zimbabwe's Harare City to victory in the 2017 Chibuku Super Cup. Harrison's appointment comes as SC Kiyovu Sports seek to strengthen their technical bench ahead of the new BK Pro League season.
