APR Basketball Club have completed the signing of French-Senegalese forward Mouhamadou Diagne as they strengthen their squad for the closing stages of the Rwanda Basketball League (RBL) regular season. The 29-year-old arrives ahead of APR's crucial fixtures against Rwanda Energy Group (REG), Patriots and RSSB Tigers as the defending champions continue their push for the top spot heading into the playoffs. Diagne is expected to make his debut when APR face REG on Wednesday, July 15. Born in Guédiawaye, Senegal, the 2.03-metre forward brings a wealth of experience, having played professionally in France, Morocco and the United States. He joins APR from Moroccan side FUS Rabat, adding quality and experience to the army side's roster ahead of the business end of the season. APR currently sit second in the league standings with 25 points from 13 games, having recorded 12 wins and just one defeat.
