As excitement builds for the 2026 Rwanda Mountain Gorilla Rally (RMGR), RUBiS Energy Rwanda, in partnership with Castrol, is supporting Kenyan rally crew Jasmeet and Ravi Chana as they prepare to compete in one of Africa’s premier motorsport events. The rally, scheduled for July 10–12, will bring together leading competitors from across the continent for a test of speed, skill and endurance on Rwanda’s challenging stages. RMGR is one of the events in the FIA African Rally Championship series. The Chana Brothers are familiar faces in Rwanda, having competed in previous editions of the championship. Their return brings a combination of experience, consistency and a strong understanding of the country's challenging terrain, where speed, endurance and mechanical reliability are all put to the test. Through their partnership with RUBiS Energy Rwanda and Castrol, the duo receives support aimed at helping them perform in the demanding conditions of competitive rallying. While RUBiS Energy powers their journey, Castrol's lubricant technology is designed to help protect the engine throughout the high-speed, high-temperature conditions encountered during the competition. Ahead of the rally, RUBiS Energy Rwanda hosted a public meet-and-greet at the RUBiS Remera 3 Service Station, giving motorsport enthusiasts an opportunity to interact with the Chana Brothers, view their rally car and take photographs with the team. Also featured in the event are Castrol giveaways for motorcycle riders and other visitors, highlighting products used in both everyday transport and high-performance motorsport. The activities continued with a breakfast event that brought together RUBiS Energy Rwanda's partners, sponsors, invited guests, media representatives and other stakeholders. The gathering provided an opportunity to discuss the partnership, celebrate the team's participation in the rally and hear from the Chana Brothers about the preparation and discipline required to compete in the FIA African Rally Championship. The engagement reflects a broader effort by RUBiS Energy Rwanda and Castrol to support motorsport while strengthening connections with customers, partners and the wider rally community. As the Chana Brothers return to Rwanda's rally stages, they will once again compete in an event that tests both driver skill and vehicle performance, backed by partners seeking to contribute to the continued growth of motorsport in Rwanda and across Africa.
