Rwandan forward Jeannine Mukandayisenga has completed a move to Chinese Women's Super League side Wuhan Jiangda FC from Tanzania's Yanga Princess. The Tanzanian club confirmed her departure on Saturday, July 4, bringing an end to a highly successful two-year spell. Mukandayisenga established herself as one of the league's most prolific forwards, finishing as the Tanzanian Women's Premier League's top scorer in each of her two seasons with 20 goals in both campaigns. Her outstanding performances attracted interest from several clubs across Africa and beyond, but she opted to join Wuhan Jiangda on a two-year contract. The prolific striker joined Yanga Princess from Rwanda's Rayon Sports, where she played a pivotal role in helping the club win the national league title. She also previously featured for Inyemera FC. Mukandayisenga is a regular member of the Rwanda women's national team, and her move to China marks another significant milestone in her career as she prepares to compete in one of Asia's strongest women's football leagues.
