Two Rwanda Defence Force (RDF) officers have completed the Senior Command and Staff Course at the Senior Command and Staff College in Kimaka, Uganda. Maj Caleb Kamuntu and Maj J.D. Mageza Gasasira graduated on Wednesday, July 2, after completing the professional military education programme designed to equip senior officers with advanced command, leadership and strategic planning skills. ALSO READ: Senior RDF officers graduate from Qatari defence college The graduation ceremony was attended by Brig Gen Jean-Chrysostome Ngendahimana, Deputy Commandant of the RDF Command and Staff College in Nyakinama, and Col Emmanuel Ruzindana, Rwanda’s Defence Attaché to Uganda, underscoring the strong military cooperation between Rwanda and Uganda in professional military education. Rwanda and Uganda have had cooperation in military training over the years. Officers from both countries have graduated from each other’s military schools.
