Tigers head coach Henry Mwinuka confirmed that the American forward will return to action and is expected to play an important role in the highly anticipated encounter. The 23-year-old, who has averaged 21 points across three BAL games this season, suffered an injury last Friday during Tigers’ opening quarterfinal game against FUS de Rabat. Lenard Jr is widely regarded for his elite defensive ability, athleticism and explosive playing style. Standing at 2.01 metres, the forward previously featured in the NBA G League with the Texas Legends and also gained BAL experience while playing for South African side MBB. His on-court partnership with guard Craig Randall has become one of the most exciting duos in African basketball, with their complementary skill sets helping power RSSB Tigers’ impressive BAL campaign.
