Rwandan athlete Emeline Imanizabayo continued her remarkable run at the ongoing African Senior Athletics Championships in Accra, Ghana, by claiming gold in the women’s 3000m event on Thursday. The Sina Gerard AC ace secured her second gold medal of the championships, in addition to the women’s 5000m final victory on Tuesday, becoming the first Rwandan woman to do so. The Rwandan contingent also includes Florence Niyonkuru in the women’s 10,000m, Magnifique Mutesiwase in the women’s 200m, and Honorine Iribagiza in the women’s 800m.
