The recent issues faced by CanalBox customers are more than just a technical inconvenience; they remind us why service delivery and accountability must remain national priorities. The Rwanda Utilities Regulatory Authority (RURA) ordered CanalBox to compensate affected customers. This sends an important message: consumers deserve reliability, transparency, and respect. Subscribers paid for a service they could not consistently access between April 13 and 20. Slow speeds, unstable connections, and long outages disrupted work, learning, and communication for many households and businesses.
