Kenya’s General Service Unit (GSU) have shown early intent in Group D at the Africa Men’s Club Championship after securing their second consecutive victory on Friday at Petit Stade in Kigali. The Kenyan side produced another confident display to defeat Ghana’s Kalibi Sports in four sets (25-18, 27-25, 25-19, 25-22), a result that sent them top of the group standings. GSU controlled large phases of the game, particularly through efficient reception and disciplined attacking. They took the opening set 25-18 before facing resistance in a tightly contested second set, edging it 27-25. The third set saw them regain control with a 25-19 win, and despite a brief push from Kalibi in the fourth, GSU held firm to close it out 25-22.
