Patients were also provided with appropriate medication. ALSO READ: PHOTOS: Rwandan peacekeepers provide free medical to prisoners in CAR The initiative forms part of ongoing civil-military cooperation efforts by Rwandan contingents deployed in different countries aimed at supporting vulnerable communities and improving access to basic health services in areas affected by instability. Boali Mayor Youskou Camille welcomed the intervention, commending RWABAT-2 for its continued support and strong cooperation with the local population. In one such effort, troops serving under MINUSCA in Bria conducted a medical outreach at Bria Prison on February 24, providing free healthcare services to inmates. The exercise was led by Rwanda Battle Group 8 in collaboration with the Rwanda Level 2 Hospital contingent, targeting critical health needs within the prison community. Services offered included internal medicine consultations, gynaecological care, dental treatment, among other essential medical support.
