Thousands of worshippers are set to gather at BK Arena as gospel music duo Ben & Chance headline the Easter Jubilee concert this Sunday. For a pair that has spent over a decade building a loyal following through church ministry, recordings, and intimate performances, stepping onto one of Rwanda’s biggest stages marks a significant milestone. The large-scale worship concert coincides with Easter, observed by Christians on April 5, adding deeper spiritual meaning to the event. Ahead of the concert, the duo released a new single titled Kare mu Museke (loosely translated as “Early in the Morning”), a song that explores themes of misplaced ambition and the pursuit of material success at the expense of spiritual growth. Through the track, the singers advocate for a faith-centred life, emphasising God’s presence as the foundation of true blessing and protection. Its release appears strategically timed to set the tone for the message they intend to deliver during the Easter performance. Beyond the headliners, the concert will also spotlight emerging voices in Rwanda’s gospel scene, including Papi Clever, Dorcas, and rising duo Alicia and Germaine. Over the years, Ben & Chance have built a strong catalogue of songs that resonate deeply with gospel audiences, including Zaburi Yanjye, Yesu Arakora, Munda y'Ingumba, Amarira, and Impano y'Ubuzima. Pastor Julienne Kabanda will minister at the concert.
