Equity Bank Rwanda has rewarded customers, agents, merchants and institutional partners who emerged as top performers in its “Ndi Umunyamuryango” campaign, an initiative aimed at promoting savings, greater use of digital banking services and fostering relationship between the bank and its members. The campaign, whose name means “I am a member,” was launched in late 2025 to encourage customers to save more, use mobile and agency banking channels, and strengthen financial inclusion. One high school and one university were also awarded for making strong use of the bank’s technology and involving parents through the system.
