APR Women Volleyball Club head coach Justine Kigwaria has played down any pressure ahead of Game 2 of the Rwanda National Volleyball League finals. Speaking ahead of Game 2 scheduled for Saturday, April 4, Kigwaria insisted his side is not under pressure. APR registered a comfortable straight-sets victory over Kepler in Game 1. “We will just play volleyball and enjoy the game. Kepler is up to the task, but for us, it’s about playing good volleyball, staying relaxed, and facing our opponents comfortably,” he said. However, Makuto has struggled with consistency, particularly in crucial moments. APR strengthened their squad significantly this season, with new players, in addition to extending the contract of their star player Benitha Mukandayisenga. The team signed three Kenyan players: Mercyline Wabwira Nakhamica, Sylvia Asimit Lachilla, and Linar Ogwera Achieng.
