The win sees the Sudanese side move five points clear of second-placed APR FC, with their advantage set to potentially stretch to eight points should they win their remaining game in hand. Amagaju, who suffered an 8-0 defeat to the same opponents earlier in the season, remain in 17th place with 21 points—just one point above bottom-placed Rutsiro FC.
