Amin Miramago has been named the new Chief Executive Officer of the Private Sector Federation (PSF). Miramago is taking over from Stephen Ruzibiza, who had headed PSF since 2015. Miramago steps into the role after serving as Chief Executive Officer of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Rwanda (ICPAR). While leading ICPAR, he contributed to securing full membership in the International Federation of Accountants and supported reforms in Public Financial Management, particularly through the adoption of international public sector accounting standards aimed at improving transparency and accountability. He has also represented Rwanda at both regional and global levels, engaging with international accounting organizations and working with the East African Community to align professional standards. Businessman François Twagirumukiza was elected the new Chairperson of Rwanda’s Private Sector Federation (PSF) on March 13. The 1st Vice Chairperson is Jean-Claude Uwizeyemungu while the 2nd Vice Chairperson is Diane Kamanzi. The five PSF clusters also have new leaders. The Trade Cluster is chaired by Faustin Niyibishobora, supported by Stafford Rubagumya as 1st Vice Chairperson and Sonia Umurungi as 2nd Vice Chairperson. The Agriculture Cluster is chaired by Christian Irakoze, with Jean-Claude Shirimpumu serving as 1st Vice Chairperson and Immaculée Kayitesi as 2nd Vice Chairperson. In the Industry Cluster, Josiane Usanase was elected Chairperson, Jules Murekezi as 1st Vice Chairperson and Nyabudala Martin as 2nd Vice Chairperson. The Services Cluster will be led by Christian Ndagijimana as Chairperson, with Eric Rutayisire as 1st Vice Chairperson and Joan Mazimpaka as 2nd Vice Chairperson. Therese Sekamana was elected Chairperson of the Specialised Cluster for women, youth and people with disability. Gloria Girabawe serves as Vice Chairperson responsible for women, Shimwayesu Kefa oversees youth, and Papy Sibomana is Vice Chairperson in charge of people with disabilities.
