The race for the Rwanda Handball League title resumes this weekend with the top three teams looking to maintain their momentum. The standout match will pit Gicumbi against APR on Saturday evening at Petit Stade, a game that could influence the race at the top of the table. Earlier that day, Gicumbi will also face ADEGI, while Police travel to Musanze on Sunday looking to maintain their strong momentum. Their dominance is also reflected in attack and defense, having scored 376 goals and conceded only 161. Close behind are APR HC with 16 points from nine matches, the military side suffering only one defeat so far this season. With 362 goals scored and 160 conceded, APR remain strong contenders for the title. In third place, Gicumbi HT sit on 12 points after eight matches. Despite trailing the top two, Gicumbi still have a game in hand and could close the gap if they win both matches on Saturday. As the league returns, Police will aim to protect their unbeaten run, APR will look to keep the pressure on the leaders, while Gicumbi hope to use their remaining fixtures to disrupt the title race.
