The Rwanda Defence Force (RDF) and the Rwanda National Police (RNP), in collaboration with other Government institutions, will launch the 2026 Defence and Security Citizen Outreach Programme on Monday, March 9. The annual nationwide community development activities are part of the build-up to Kwibohora32 celebrations on July 4. ALSO READ: Security organs’ citizen outreach targets infrastructure, education, healthcare This human security initiative aligns with the constitutional mandate of the RDF and RNP to contribute to Rwanda’s socio-economic development, the institutions said in a joint statement on Friday. Key planned initiatives include construction of houses for vulnerable families, classrooms, water distribution channels, livestock donation, environmental protection activities, and the provision of medical services. RDF and RNP express their sincere gratitude to the public for their steadfast support and continued commitment to Rwanda’s security and development, the statement read.
