Ugandan comedians Patrick Salvador and Teacher Mpamire arrived in Kigali on Wednesday, March 5, ahead of their performance where they will headline the Thank God It’s Funny comedy show on Friday at Kigali Universe. The event is organised and hosted by Rwandan comedian Babu, who welcomed them upon arrival. Known for their stand-up comedy performances across East Africa, Salvador and Mpamire are expected to headline the comedy night alongside a lineup of regional and local performers. Other acts scheduled to perform include the likes of Babu Joe, Herve Kimenyi, Michael Sengazi, Arnold, Muhinde, Rusine and Grihaup. The show will also feature a guest performance from Rwandan singer Rlutta. Tickets are priced at Rwf 10,000 for regular entry and Rwf 20,000 for VIP, while a table of six is available for Rwf 200,000.
