The Rwanda National Volleyball League delivered its final verdict this weekend as the last round of the regular season was played at Petit Stade from Friday to Saturday. Four teams have secured their places in the playoffs: Gisagara VC, Kepler VC, Police VC, and REG VC, who clinched the final spot after staging a comeback to defeat APR VC 3–1 (19–25, 25–18, 25–23, 25–20) on Saturday. APR began the decisive encounter confidently, taking early control and claiming the opening set 25–19. The military side looked composed and in command. However, the momentum shifted on fine margins, as a series of direct errors and lapses in concentration allowed REG to turn the tide, with left attacker Merci Gisubizo proving instrumental. APR will particularly regret the third set (23–25), which they narrowly lost after a tightly contested battle throughout. Matches of such intensity are often decided by small but crucial moments. While REG maintained focus and composure, APR struggled to sustain consistency when it mattered most. Earlier in the week, Kepler VC had already booked their playoff ticket following a thrilling five-set showdown. Meanwhile, table-toppers Gisagara VC wrapped up the second phase in dominant fashion with a straight-sets victory over Kigali Volleyball Club (KVC). Police VC also confirmed their qualification with a commanding 3–0 win over KVC on Saturday, completing the playoff lineup.
