APR have dominated this fixture, winning nine of their previous 10 league meetings against Gorilla, with one draw. Meanwhile, Al Hilal dropped points in a 1-1 draw against Rayon Sports. A win for Al Merrikh over Gasogi would take them top of the table on 43 points. Gasogi United, who sit 12th with 24 points, will be hoping to upset the Sudanese side, who have competed in the league since September.
