The lineup for the quarterfinals of the CAF Champions League has been confirmed following the completion of the sixth and final round of group matches over the weekend. Eight teams progressed to the knockout stage, split into two pots according to their finishing positions. The Champions League quarter-final draw is scheduled at 14:00 Cairo time (12:00 GMT) while the Confederation Cup draw will follow at 4PM Cairo time (2pm GMT) Qualified teams for CAF Champions League quarter-finals are pooled in two pots as follows: Pot 1 – group winners: Pyramids FC (Egypt) Al Ahly (Egypt) Al Hilal (Sudan) Stade Malien (Mali) Pot 2 – runners-up: RS Berkane (Morocco) AS FAR (Morocco) Mamelodi Sundowns (South Africa) Espérance de Tunis (Tunisia) According to the competition rules, the teams that finished second in their respective groups will host the opening leg of the quarter-final ties, with the group winners playing the return matches at home. Clubs that met during the group phase cannot be drawn against each other in the last-eight round. The first-leg fixtures are scheduled to be played between March 13 and 15, with the second legs set for March 20 to 22.
