Etincelles FC have dismissed head coach Djuma Masudi following a string of poor results in the Rwanda Premier League. The Rubavu-based club confirmed Masudi’s sacking on Tuesday, February 3, through a statement published on its official X account. Abdou ‘Bekeni’ Bizimana has been appointed caretaker head coach as the club begins the search for a permanent replacement. Etincelles have struggled throughout the campaign and currently sit bottom of the league table with just 11 points from 18 matches. Their only victory in the first round of the season was a 3–0 win over Musanze FC. Masudi, 48, had been appointed head coach in October 2025, replacing Innocent Seninga, but was unable to turn the club’s fortunes around.
