Rayon Sports striker Fall Ngagne has expressed excitement after returning to competitive action following a lengthy period on the sidelines with a knee injury. The Senegalese forward made his comeback in Rayon Sports’ 2-2 draw against Al Merrikh on Wednesday, January 21, at Kigali Pele Stadium in the Rwanda Premier League. It was his first appearance since February last year, when he sustained a serious injury during a league match against Amagaju FC at Huye Stadium. Ngagne came close to scoring on some occasions in his return match but failed to convert his chances. Despite that, he said he was happy to be back and confident that his form will improve with more game time. “It is great to be back on the team. I am looking forward to working together with the rest of the team and winning like we used to do,” he said. Rayon Sports next face Mukura Victory Sports on Saturday at Muhanga Stadium as they look to end a three-match winless run. The Blues sit ninth on the table with 25 points, having lost two matches and drawn one in their last three outings.
