SC Kiyovu have released two players ahead of the second round of the Rwanda Premier League (RPL). Among these is Burundian international striker Amissi Cedrick who has left the club by mutual agreement. The former Rayon Sports forward leaves after a suspension over disciplinary issues related to traveling to Burundi without the club’s permission at the time. The 34-year-old joined Kiyovu at the start of the 2025 season on a one-year deal. He has previously played for clubs in Rwanda, Burundi and Saudi Arabia. Kiyovu have also parted ways with Gabonese striker Gabriel Fils Meye Me Ndong. He left the club before the end of the first round of the league after featuring in several matches, including the 0-0 draw against APR FC.
