APR FC chairman Brig Gen Deo Rusanganwa has said that his team is determined to continue winning derbies against rivals Rayon Sports following Saturday’s 4-1 victory in the FERWAFA Super Cup. Speaking after the match, Rusanganwa said his team deserved the victory and stressed that APR always aims to win, even though results can vary in football. There is no emotion involved because football is a science,” he said, as he criticised Rayon Sports’ recent recruitment approach, saying the club signed several players within a short period and appointed a new coach. Rusanganwa added that despite APR’s domestic success, the club still needs to improve to compete consistently at international level.
