Kepler teams will soon begin hosting basketball and volleyball matches at their own modern indoor gymnasium, which is currently under construction. Kepler CEO Nathalie Munyampenda told Times Sport that the facility is scheduled for completion in April, with a seating capacity of 1,000 spectators. Kepler operates four clubs—two men’s teams and two women’s teams—competing in the country’s top-tier basketball and volleyball leagues. At present, the volleyball teams hold their training sessions at Notre Dame des Anges in Remera, while the basketball teams train on the college’s outdoor courts. The new gymnasium is expected to provide a permanent home venue and improve training and match-day conditions for all teams. Once completed, the facility will add to Rwanda’s growing list of modern indoor sports venues. The country currently has eight indoor gymnasiums, with 10,000-seater BK Arena standing out as the largest. Other facilities include Petit Stade Amahoro Indoor Gymnasium, Kirehe Gymnasium, Lycée de Kigali Gymnasium, NPC Gymnasium, Kimisagara Youth Sports Centre, Groupe Scolaire de La Salle Gymnasium, University of Rwanda–Huye Gymnasium, and Green Hills Academy Gymnasium.
