Disc jockey Arnaud Shema, popularly known as DJ Toxxyk, is expected to appear before the Nyarugenge Primary Court for a bail hearing in connection with a hit-and-run accident that claimed the life of a police officer who was on duty. The National Public Prosecution Authority (NPPA) spokesperson Faustin Nkusi confirmed that they received Shema’s case on December 29. The file was subsequently submitted to the court, and the suspect is scheduled to appear on January 7. Police indicated that the suspect fled the scene immediately after the incident but was arrested later that afternoon following a brief period in hiding.
