Al Hilal will visit Gicumbi FC at Kigali Pelé Stadium at 18:30, aiming to climb into the top ten. Al Hilal currently sits 12th with 17 points. A win could lift them to 8th place with 20 points, nine behind league leaders Police FC. With four games in hand, a perfect run could see them gain another 12 points. Gicumbi is 10th with 18 points. A victory at home would move them level with Rayon Sports in 7th place, both on 21 points. “We dropped some points in the past, but we are regaining form. We want to stay consistent and keep fighting for points,” said Al Hilal coach Laurențiu Aurelian Reghecampf. Gicumbi coach Justin Bisengimana said they are aiming for a better position. “Our aim is to finish in a better position. Reaching the top eight in the first round will give us a solid foundation for the second round.” Earlier in the day, Marines host Amagaju at Umuganda Stadium, while Gasogi United take on Musanze at Kigali Pelé Stadium at 15:00.
