Former Patriots shooting guard Stephaun Branch has signed a one-season deal with Bogor Hornbills of the Indonesian Basketball League (IBL). The Hornbills, based in the city of Bogor, will be Branch’s second IBL club after a strong 2025 season with Tangerang Hawks. He played a key role in helping the Hawks reach the 2025 IBL playoffs, averaging 20.0 points, 7.8 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 2.6 steals in 23 regular-season games. In two playoff matches, he posted averages of 15.5 points, 7.8 rebounds, 5.1 assists and 2.6 steals. Nicknamed “Monster Points”, Branch is expected to boost the team’s performance ahead of the 2026 season. In 2024, he had spells with RM Valcea in Romania, where he made 29 appearances, before joining Patriots with whom they reached the finals of Rwanda Basketball League. After the IBL season ended, Branch joined Dorados in Mexico’s LNBP, averaging 7 points, 6.1 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.9 steals across seven regular-season games. Bogor Hornbills will be hoping Branch’s scoring ability makes an immediate impact, particularly if he receives consistent support from the team’s point guards.
