Lomami will take charge from the touchline during Friday’s encounter, while Ferry—who arrived in Kigali on Friday morning—will observe his new team from the stands as he prepares to officially begin his tenure. Rayon Sports currently sit fifth on the Rwanda Premier League table with 17 points, nine behind leaders Police FC. A victory over Gorilla FC, who are 10th with 15 points, would help the Blues close the gap at the top of the standings. “After losing against Bugesera FC, our focus is to bounce back on Friday,” Lomami said. “I want my players not only to get the three points but also to deliver a good performance and play better football.” The match comes at a time when Alain Kirasa’s Gorilla FC have struggled for consistency, recording just one win in their past six outings.
