Rwandan producer and singer Fred Robinson Mugisha, popularly known as Element Eleéeh, has been honoured with the ‘African Superstar’ award at the ninth ODA Awards, held on Tuesday, December 9, in Ethiopia. The annual ceremony celebrates outstanding achievement in Ethiopian and African arts, recognising creative excellence across generations. The 'African Superstar' award was presented to Element for his outstanding artistry and cultural influence that transcends borders, unites nations, and amplifies Africa's creative voice on the global stage. “I’m so thankful and grateful for tonight. I’m enjoying how the relationship between Rwanda and Ethiopia is going and for the award tonight,” said Element Eleéeh after receiving the award. The latest recognition highlights Element’s growing role in elevating African creativity internationally, driven by his innovative approach to music production and artistic expression. His hit tracks “Tombe” and “Maaso” earned him a major breakthrough in the music scene as a singer, paving the away for a European music tour that will run until February 2026.
