Kigali Marriott Hotel ushered in the holiday season with its enchanting annual Tree Lighting Ceremony, where families, guests, and community members gathered in the hotel lobby to witness the grand illumination of the Christmas tree. The evening was filled with music, joy, and festive magic. The celebration featured a surprise appearance by Santa, who delighted children with gifts and warm greetings, creating a heartwarming atmosphere that captured the spirit of togetherness. As part of its December festivities, the hotel also announced its upcoming Kids Gingerbread Workshop—scheduled for December 13, 2025 at 2 p.m.—inviting families to enjoy a hands-on decorating experience complemented by access to the play area, interactive activities, and a kids’ buffet, with limited spaces available for reservation. Aditya Chacko, Multi Property General Manager at Kigali Marriott Hotel, emphasised that the Tree Lighting Ceremony is one of the hotel’s most treasured traditions, celebrating community and togetherness. He noted that the event reflects the hotel’s commitment to creating memorable experiences that strengthen community bonds during the holiday season. “Our Tree Lighting Ceremony is one of our most treasured traditions. Chacko highlighted that the annual celebration holds deep meaning for the hotel, saying how it brings guests and local families together in a warm and festive spirit. Kigali Marriott Hotel has also unveiled its festive season dining programme, detailing a series of special culinary experiences running from December 24 to January 1. The calendar includes Christmas Eve dinner and Cucina festive degustation on December 24, Christmas Day brunch and Cucina festive dégustation lunch and dinner on December 25, Boxing Day dinner on December 26, Feast of Thanks on December 28, Countdown Cuisine and Eve of Elegance on December 31, New Year’s Eve Countdown also on December 31, and a Rise and Shine brunch on January 1. The programme, branded 'Step into Festive Flavours', will be hosted across Soko Restaurant, Cucina Restaurant, and Iriba Bar & Terrace at Kigali Marriott Hotel, located at KN 3 Avenue, Nyarugenge District, in Kigali’s central business area, as hospitality establishments roll out holiday offers ahead of the year-end celebrations.
